Wowowwee contest winner finally gets her brand new house
It has been widely reported on paper that Wowowwee contest winner Mrs. Nena Santos did not get the brand new house-and-lot prize she won in the contest Big Time Pera O Bayong.
After getting media attention, Ms. Santos finally get what she deserved. It was Willie Revillame himself who personally settled the issue. In a live program, Willie explained that the issue came about due to some miscommunication or misunderstanding.
Willie also apologized to Ms. Santos and indicated that the new house will be complete with all home furnishings. “Wag kayong mag-alala. Ang bahay na regalo sa inyo ng Globe Asiatique lalagyan namin ng kumpletong gamit. Lahat ng kailangan n’yo. Pati toaster, kutsara, tinidor, asin, paminta at pati asukal. Wala na po tayong problema. Ako mismo ang maghahatid sa inyo sa iyong bagong bahay,” Willie assured Ms. Santos who seemed to be pleased.
Ms. Nena Santos’ story caught media’s attention after complaining of her numerous failed attempts to get the prize. Persistent to get it, she was then finally given a permit to occupy but later found out that the house was a repossessed property and not brand new as promised.
