Willi Revillame confined at St. Luke’s Medical Hospital
Willie Revillame, the popular game show host of ABS-CBN’s Wowowee, is now undergoing treatment at the St. Luke’s Medical Hospital in Quezon City. This was disclosed last Tuesday by Showbiz News Ngayon host, Boy Abunda.
Revillame went through an executive medical check-up in August of 2008 and was found to have throat, heart and intestine problems. He, however, was not able to heed the doctors orders to take a one-month rest due to his busy schedule in Wowowwe. Randy Santiago has taken over his role in Wowowwe since Monday, February 16.
Revillame had been confined at the hospital since Sunday, February 15 and is said to be undergoing an angiogram procedure due to a heart condition. The said procedure, according to doctors, will determine if Revillame will have to go through angioplasty, a surgery which aims to unclog obstructed blood vessels.
