Vilma Santos to play the role of the late President Corazon Aquino
An upcoming movie that will depict the life of the late President Corazon Aquino is on the works to be produced under Star Cinema and Vilma Santos gets to play that role. Kris Aquino herself admits it in the last episode of The Buzz that Vilma is Vilma and that all her sisters are all for Vilma.
So, who gets to play the role of Ninoy Aquino? According to Kris, Piolo Pascual is the best fit to play the role of her dad. She also disclosed that her sisters reaction about Piolo was “Wow, gumwapo si Dad.” It only means to say that majority of the Aquino family are all for Piolo.
However, in a recent interview, Cesar Montano, who is known to do films with themes about love of country, is also set to play the role of Ninoy. According to the actor, before former President Corazon Aquino died, they already talked about this plan.
