Sharon Cuneta receives birthday greetings from Gabby Concepcion during her concert
Sharon Cuneta just finished a successful birthday concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City last Friday, January 9. One of the highlights of the birthday concert was the VTR where Gabby was shown greeting Sharon a happy birthday. “Ngayon lang ako makakabati ng birthday for the very first time this year,” states Gabby. “This is the happiest birthday greeting that I’ve ever done this year,” he added. A loud scream from the crowd burst as the VTR was shown.
Gabby Conception was in the US when interviewed to spend Christmas with his family. He will be back in a few weeks for his remaining showbiz commitments. Gabby was still consistent in his words that he is open to working with Sharon Cuneta to do a movie in the future. “That’s very exciting, actually. It would be nice if we did a movie. Actually it’s been a while. I think it would be fun,” added Gabby.
On the other hand, Megastar Sharon Cuneta showed a positive feedback about the surprise birthday greetings. Sharon was touched and shared that she will not be able to come this far if not because of Gabby’s company in the past. “I don’t know if everybody can understand and I can be happy na naging part rin ng buhay ko ‘yung tao hindi naman pwedeng i-erase na nila,” expressed Sharon.
While before Sharon was firm that she would rather not do a movie with Gabby, now she has been realistic in her answers. “Ayokong magsalita ng tapos,” said Sharon. “Like I said before, gustong-gusto ko talaga. I’m a fan of the team-up. I’m sure siya rin kasi it’s a team-up na mahal na mahal ng buong bansa.” But Sharon has some reservations and concerns of what it might do to her personal life. Sharon’s priority now is the peace of mind of hers’ and Gabby’s family.
