There’s no stopping to the rumors about Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz. What’s the real score?
It can be recalled that when Ruffa’s dad, Eddie Gutierrez, was interviewed in The Buzz, he admitted that Ruffa and John Lloyd have developed a deep friendship to each other, a father’s instinct perhaps. “Parang may nakikita akong malalim na friendship.” Also, when Boy Abunda interviewed John Lloyd as to whether or not he likes Ruffa, the actor only answered it with a laugh saying, “As what?” and ultimately answering “Oo naman” when the TV host insisted if he likes Ruffa.
Even Ruffa’s two daughters, Lorin and Venice, have a taste for John Lloyd. The two were asked by Ai-Ai delas Alas, in the Ruffa & Ai show where Ruffa also celebrated her birthday, as to who is their favorite actor and they immediately answered “John Lloyd.”
The message of Ruffa’s mom, Annabelle Rama, is also full of meaning when she said on public television, “Kung talagang nanligaw ka sa anak ko, galingan mo ha, dong. Saka h’wag mo siyang lokohin ha, ‘yun lang.”
To Ruffa, “For me, masasabi ko lang sa sarili ko I live for myself, for my emotions, for my hapiness and not for the reactions of other people.”
