Robin Padilla and wife Liezl Sicangco now divorced
Robin Padilla, the ‘bad boy’ in Philippine cinema, has just made a comeback to ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya network. Robin’s comeback to the network is also mired with the issue of divorce to his wife of 20 years.
The actor married wife, Liezl Sicangco, in a Muslim rite shortly after Robin embraced Islam in 1995. The news about the couple’s divorce came up just recently after Robin admitted the issue to a veteran columnist.
The actor confirms that he and Liezl have been divorced for two years. Liezl happily remarried to another man after the divorce was granted and continues to live in Australia with her and Robin’s four children. Robin is now considered “the most eligible bachelor in town.”
Both Robin and Liezl who parted decently now has a better relationship than it ever was. Liezl is now taken, but Robin is up for grabs.
Robin will turn 40 on November 23. He will celebrate his birthday with his ex-wife Liezl and children who will be arriving in the country on November 19.
