Ogie Alcasid defends girlfriend Regine Velasquez
People talk and that is what happened after Regine Velasquez admitted she had been ill of the H1N1 virus. She was the first Filipino celebrity who openly admitted having been ill of H1N1 but the admission doesn’t stop there. Regine who was supposed to guest in the concert of Charice Pempengco was not able to appear and her absence in the show stirred a controversy.
It was said that the singer’s revelation about her illness was just a cover up of her non-appearance in Charice’s concert, which boyfriend Ogie Alcasid disagree. Ogie came to the rescue when asked about her girlfriend’s illness. The singer-composer shared that Regine was indeed sick of H1N1 and that he was around to take care of her but at a 10 meter distance.
