Martin Nievera on Pops Fernandez and Jomari Yllana issue
The bickering between Martin Nievera and Jomari Yllana just got so intense as Martin tried to show support on ex-wife Pops Fernandez. Martin’s reaction about the whole thing was that he was hurt and angry at Jomari for being the reason why Pops is hurting.
Jomari, on the other hand, can’t stand Martin’s meddling on his affair with Pops. The Buzz show co-host Ruffa Gutierrez pointed out in the P.O.V. portion of the show that Jomari was right when he said why would Martin meddle in their affairs now when in fact he did not meddle in the Martin and Pops affair when they were also having problems of their own.
The petty quarrel goes on that brought Martin to issue an official statement, which was read live on TV in The Buzz, stating:
“There was a time when I would jump all over these intrigues. I mean it’s not like me not to react but let me for the first time not to be me and not react. But let me say this, I’ve never said anything bad or disrespectful in any comment made about the breakup or about Jom. I will not start now. He is right, no one should comment on their breakup so let’s just tell them to tell us what they want us to know and respect their privacy. And besides, he didn’t break up with me right? Well then, he should be the one defending Pops on TV instead of me. So this is not making a comment so let’s just leave the two to sort out their problems and wait and see what they are willing to share with all of us.”
