Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas announced wedding date October 23, 2009
The exact wedding date of two public personalities, Korina Sanchez and Senator Mar Roxas, was announced in The Buzz. The wedding will take place on October 23, 2009. October 23 was picked as the wedding date because, according to Senator Roxas, it is very meaningful to them.”Yung Octobre birthday month ni Korina at birthday ng yumao kong kapatid. Yung 23 suwerte sa amin ‘yan both in astrology at saka sa Chinese calendar. At sa numerology sinabi nila ang two and three ‘pag pinagsama, five (so) buntis. Maganda ‘yun,” shared the Senator.
The two started their church hunting last August 11 . First church that they looked into was the Sto. Domingo Church, which has a wide space. They also visited the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila. What they liked in the church is its nice sound system and the authentic pipe organ aside from the fact that it’s already big. No decision has been reached yet as a third church visit is still on the list.
The two are aware that Korina may have a hard time bearing a child because of her age but was advised by a doctor that there is a possibility that they can still have a child.
“Ito ang susunod na yugto sa pagsasama natin punong-puno ng tuwa ang puso ko at buong-buo ang loob ko na ito talaga ang susunod para sa atin,” says Senator Roxas. Korina responded by saying, “dahil sa iyo nagbago lahat ang aking plano, yung pinapangarap kong buhay at makakasama habambuhay, sa wakas ay magkakatotoo na rin. I love you.”
