John Lloyd Cruz new movie to include intimate scenes with Luis Manzano
After his successful movie You Changed My Life, the 25 year-old actor John Lloyd Cruz will be very busy again preparing for his new project in the coming months. In this new film, John Lloyd will play as a gay lover, considered to be a milestone of the actor’s already budding career. The movie stars Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and son, Luis Manzano. The film will be shot in New York and will include intimate scenes between John Lloyd and Luis.
As challenged as he is for this new movie, John Lloyd admits he is still trying to mentally psyche himself up. He also admits that this project is not going to be easy for him although he is excited about it because of its theme “You know, it’s that kind of something that you can never be prepared for. Kasi, kahit sabihin mo na you’re there, in the moment ka na with your co-actor, talagang parang siyempre, lalaki pa rin sa lalaki and wala naman akong problema with the gay community.”
John Lloyd’s only hope is for the audience to look forward to the story as a whole even if there will be some controversial kissing scenes between him and Luis. The newly-crowned Box Office King also said that just like with all his previous leading ladies, he will also be careful doing his first kissing scene with Luis. According to John Llyod, what is important for him in doing this movie is the journey that he will get to experience in portraying the character of a gay lover.
John Lloyd shared that he wants to give it his all because this will be his first time doing this kind of movie. However, he admits that they probably cannot compare the highest level of standard set in the movie, Brokeback Mountain.
