You Changed My Life raked in P18M on Opening Day
John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo’s second movie team up You Changed My Life reportedly raked in P18 million on opening day. This, according to the report made by Star Cinema Booking and Distribution. The movie which was first shown on February 25 that grossed P18 Million nationwide is a solid testament of the warm reception for the John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo team up.
The amount reported surpassed the amount raked in by their first movie, A Very Special Love, which only grossed P14 Million last year. Although the success of the movie called for a celebration, John Lloyd and Sarah are a bit sad about the end of the whole movie experience. John Lloyd will return to the taping of the hit teleserye I Love Betty La Fea and Sarah will go on a concert tour this March through April in North America.
Asked about the whole movie experience, Sarah revealed that with John Lloyd “hindi ka lang babatiin kasi magkatrabaho kayo. Papakitaan ka ng maganda dahil may nakakakitang ibang tao. Kay John Lloyd nabura ‘yung perception na yun.” John Lloyd however shared that Sarah has a different aura that can lighten up anyone’s face.
