An emotional interview aired in GMA7’s  “24 Oras” on Wednesday, April 18, Actress Ara Mina claims that Cristine Reyes, her sister, has been sending slanderous texts messages since Holy Week to her and her friends. Her sister has been attacking her through texts since she tried to resolve matters. She also has been destroying Ara’s reputation with their relatives.

The feud started when Ara and Cristine bought a house for their mother worth P3.3 million. The sisters agreed to split the payment. Cristine will pay for the initial down payment of one million pesos and Ara will pay the balance worth a total of P2.3M.

Ara claimed, “Sinasabi niya bayaran ko siya. Hindi ko siya kailangan bayaran kasi ako ang naghulog ng bahay ng mommy ko. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang sinasabi niya, kasi nasa pangalan niya ‘yung dead of sale. Siya yung nag-down ng 1 million, ako ‘yung naghulog ng P2.3 million (She says I should pay her.  I don’t need to give her anything because I”ve been paying for my mommy’s house. I don’t know what she’s saying because the deed of sale is in her name. She paid the 1 million down payment, and I paid P2.3 million in installments).”

An ABS CBN News report  Wednesday on same evening,  April 18, her sister attacked her with text and it said. “Kung ayaw niyo manggulo ako sa buhay n’yo, bayaran n’yo utang n’yo sa akin. Kung wala kayong pambayad, ibigay n’yo hinihingi ko.” [If you don’t want me to create trouble in your lives, pay your debts. If you don’t have the money, give me what I want]. Cristine allegedly threatened to ruin Ara’s life once she does not give her car [SUV] and other valuables as part of her debt payment. Ara said, her younger sister wants her to pay for P500,000 instead of cash. Her sister want her car [SUV] in lieu of the 500,000 to pay for half of the down payment .

According to some press people who got a copy of Ara’s complaint. They were shocked by the words that Cristine used to malign her sister. They never imagined that Cristine could use such words against Ara, who, even if Cristine would not admit, Ara helped her to be what she is in showbiz right now. The text messages were really very damaging to Ara as a person.

Viva Artist Management who handles Cristine advised her not to comment on the issue. Cristine’s manager, Veronique del Rosario, refused to give a statement until she have received a copy of Ara’s complaint. Cristine and Ara are both under Viva Artist Management.

The two sisters,  Ara and Cristine are in showbiz world. Before their relationship turn sour, according to Showbiz Inside Report, ABS-CBN News, April 21, 2012, Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes shared dreams, triumphs and challenges, and from humble beginnings thrived towards stardom side by side.

Is this a year of war between family members of celebrities? One can recall that before the Ara Mina and Christine Reyes feud came up, a feud between Sharon Cuneta and Helen Gamboa erupted.

The two started their church hunting last August 11 . First church that they looked into was the Sto. Domingo Church, which has a wide space. They also visited the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila. What they liked in the church is its nice sound system and the authentic pipe organ aside from the fact that it’s already big. No decision has been reached yet as a third church visit is still on the list.

The two are aware that Korina may have a hard time bearing a child because of her age but was advised by a doctor that there is a possibility that they can still have a child.

“Ito ang susunod na yugto sa pagsasama natin punong-puno ng tuwa ang puso ko at buong-buo ang loob ko na ito talaga ang susunod para sa atin,” says Senator Roxas. Korina responded by saying, “dahil sa iyo nagbago lahat ang aking plano, yung pinapangarap kong buhay at makakasama habambuhay, sa wakas ay magkakatotoo na rin. I love you.”

She also revealed what the teacher of her son Josh said about her mom. The teacher told her that three of the students saw Former President Cory Aquino in the school’s corridor looking over at Josh classroom. She also shared that she felt the presence of her mom when the lights in her house went on and off before coming to The Buzz.

Kris also thanked those who shared their stories about how her story changed their lives, many of whom shared that they are now more caring towards their moms more than before. “Mas caring daw sila towards their moms. Mas nagse-spend daw sila ng time sa pamilya because of what we went through,” Kris shared.

This statement of Kris made people think. Does Noynoy now have a girlfriend?

Recently, news about Noynoy Aquino’s girlfriend spread like wildfire. Then the revelation.

TV Patrol interviewed Noynoy’s rumored girlfriend Shalani Soledad, a councilor in Valenzuela City. Shalani is 29 years old who finished the degree in Human Resource Management at De La Salle University-College of Saint Benilde. She previously worked as a staff in the Office of Senator Panfilo Lacson before joining politics in Valenzuela City.

The relationship of Noynoy and Shalani has not been made public. Thanks to Kris now people know.

This medical discovery came in very late. It could have saved the life of Former President Cory Aquino. It is also a huge money saver as aspirin only costs a penny.

Kris mom is suffering from colon cancer and has been in the hospital for over a month to fight the disease. Kris decision was moved by the overpowering love for her mom coupled with the fact that she finds it hard to entertain while her heart is breaking. Kris shared that her mom’s condition is the hardest that strikes the family.

“Hindi ko na kayang maging strong,” Kris added.

Meanwhile, the paraffin test result performed on Trinidad Etong was found negative. This was declared in a statement made by Police Superintendent Dr. Filemon Porciuncula, Crime Laboratory Chief of Quezon City. Police authorities also said that the paraffin test conducted on Ted Failon turned out to be negative but declared the result as “inconclusive.”
