Angel Locsin to star opposite Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo in Only You
Angel Locsin is back and busy again as she prepares for her new soap, a remake of the popular Koreanovela, Only You with Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo.
It can be recalled that Angel Locsin had been hospitalized due to dengue. Angel’s first appearance after her recovery was the recently concluded trade launch of ABS CBN at the Rockwell Tent where she promoted the upcoming soap, Only You. Angel gave a sexy dance number but later admits that she has yet to regain her usual ‘high energy level.’ She said that she took a week of bed rest upon the advise of her doctor but then have to work everyday after that. “Hindi pa talaga bumalik yung resistensya ko tulad ng dati. Nagulat nga ako kasi napaka-active ko tapos isang sayaw pa lang medyo kinapos na ako ng hininga,” Angel said. She added that she needs to exercise to regain her energy.
The partial taping of the new soap will be in Korea this coming March. Only You is the story of an aspiring chef who gets pregnant by a rich businessman whom she accompanies to search for his mother. Angel admits that she has some doubts when the project was first offered to her as she has never portrayed a mother role before. “Pero napanood ko naman yung ibang episodes dun sa original version. Hindi naman siya nakakatanda. Hindi naman siya nakakamature kasi talagang napaka-cute ng story,” Angel shared.
With her new leading men, Angel shared that she doesn’t need time to adjust with them. She said that Sam was her first partner in ABS CBN. With Diet, Angel said she doesn’t have to adjust. “Nagulat ako. Na-touch ako dahil dumalaw din siya sa ospital ng walang sabi-sabi. Nag-wish lang siya ng get well soon, ganun,” Angel said.
