Angel Locsin rushed to hospital
Boyfriend Luis Manzano is asking supporters for Angel Locsin’s speedy recovery. Angel was rushed to the hospital on Thursday, January 22 at around 11 PM.
The star of Love Me Again: Land Down Under was reported to have developed a fever last January 17, Saturday, causing her to cancel appearances on Entertainment Live with Piolo Pascual, ASAP ’09 and The Buzz because the fever had gotten worse. Angel was still able to attend Avon’s press launch but the fever has not subsided. It was on Wednesday when Angel’s fever got worse and she started throwing up. The fever went up high to 40 degrees, according to Luis. “Namumula talaga s’ya, that could be a sign of dengue.”
According to recent reports, Angel is now on her way to recovery. In a text message, Angel’s manager Becky Aguila states, “Angel was officially diagnosed with dengue infection two days ago. As of 5PM, the platelet count has gone up to fifty-eight thousand. Her doctor is optimistic that she’s on her way to recovery.”
Angel exressed her gratitude to everyone who prayed for her. Luis, however, is still asking for prayers for Angel’s speedy recovery although she is okay now.
