Albert Martinez remains positive in life despite wife Liezel’s health condition
The Martinez family had been very quite and kept things in private since news of Liezel’s health condition broke out last year. It was Liezel’s cousin, Nino Mulach, who confirmed the news that Liezel had been diagnosed with breast cancer but that the prognosis was good.
During the story conference of upcoming teleserye Marcelino, Albert Martinez briefly spoke of how a positive outlook in life helped him and the entire family handle the ordeal. Albert shared, “Kung ano man ang nangyayari dapat positive ka pa rin. That’s the only way I and most of us in the family will survive kung ano mang tragedy, pain, or what to come. If you keep yourself positive and close to God you will be okay.”
After 20 long years of marriage, Albert and Liezel had been blessed with three kids: Alyanna, Alfonso, and Alyssa. The daughter of actress Amalia Fuentes and actor Romeo Vasquez, Liezel was a former child star.
Albert who is the family’s pillar of support is now busy with work. He has an upcoming TV series dubbed Marcelino, a story of a young boy whose unwavering faith in God inspired an entire town. Albert said that the story pretty much reflects his own attitude towards his family’s situation.
