Ai Ai Delas Alas talks about new morning talk show
Ai Ai Delas Alas is back on TV with her new morning talk show dubbed ‘Ruffa and Ai.’ The comedy concert queen had been hosting talk shows before like Lunch Date, SST (Salo-Salo Together), and MTB. “Ang daming beses ng pinalitan ang MTB, andun pa rin ako,” shared Ai Ai. She added that hosting is not new to her and what has changed only is the timeslot and, this time, with co-host Ruffa Gutierrez.
Ai Ai expressed excitement about her new show, which is a big change from her previous hosting stints. She said that it’s a different show and it’s simple. “Wala siyang topic. Anything goes. Namimigay lang kami ng giveaways. Masaya lang,” she explained. She added that the show is some sort of a local adaptation of the popular Holywood talk show, The Ellen Degeneres Show.
Although Ai Ai is not really close to Ruffa, Ai Ai said that they are both comfortable working together. They have teamed up in a project before when Ruffa was still a teenager and their most recent project is the ongoing primetime bida soap, I Love Betty La Fea.
Ai Ai also revealed that she always gives her heart and treats every project equally to make sure she performs her part effectively. “Yung talent na binigay sa akin ng Diyos, binibigay ko sa kanila ‘yon. Buong buhay ko binibigay ko sa audience.”
